I've disabled all Add Ons, installed Adblock Plus, installed Malwarebyte and nothing is removing these advertisements. This issue only appears in Mozilla.

You can see the images, please help.

Thanks. John

I looked at recently installed and there was nothing there that raised concerns. I did try the trick about renaming the old folders and reinstalling and that seemed to have worked. Thank you.

Try other software like AdwCleaner.

You can check for recently installed suspicious or unknown extensions.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Tried all this and I just installed adwcleaner, ran it, cleaned, restarted, and the issue is still there.

Looks to be a 5-step removal process, the first of which is to inspect the Control Panel for specific named known malware carriers, like in the case of "Ads by name" would be Name, SalesPlus, Unideals or WPM13. Keep in mind that the malicious program may have a different name on your computer. To view the most recently installed programs, you can click on the “Installed On” column to sort your program by the installation date. Scroll through the list, and uninstall any unwanted or unknown programs.

It is very important that you locate and get rid of the original cause of that infection, otherwise the "infection" might just reoccur.

Then it is time to use multiple different adware / malware tools, as each program may look for different types of exploits. One or two usually isn't enough to find them all.
