I know how to check the current version I am using but I would like to know what Mozilla has released for the current version release of Firefox. I used the About Firefox to obtain what version I am using and Mozilla says its Version 36.0.4 . which states Firefox is up to date. Yesterday, I downloaded Version 37.0 from Mozillas' web site and today it is not available. What is going on?

Note that this is only a problem on Windows and other platforms like Mac and Linux aren't affected AFAIK.

  • Bug 1149761 - Users reporting crash in gfxWindowsPlatform::InitD3D11Devices() after updating to Firefox 37
  • Bug 1149864 - When safemode is on we should not attempt to create any device

So it should be fine to download Firefox 37.0 for Linux and Mac OSX from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all

I just updated Firefox today (4/4/15) to 37.0.1 and Firefox can no longer access any Mozilla website. The https://www.mozilla.org.... site goes immediately to an error webpage "This Connection is Untrusted", which reports that: www.mozilla.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer) I can Add an exception for Mozilla.org, but each time I run Firefox and try to access a Mozilla website, I have to go through the same steps. I do not have any problem accessing Mozilla.org on my other browsers (Chrome 41 and IE 11).
