I recently discovered something called "bobicus" listed on my Macintosh HD. I think it might be a server. I am not tech-savvy at all and I"m worried that this has appeared fairly recently. after installing a number of add-ons. I would be very grateful to receive your help.

I do not know, however it is possible to run a scan if you think it is malware: Try to boot your Mac in Safe Mode.

Thanks very much for your help. I checked my HD again (24 hrs. later) and the "bobicus" file is no longer there! I do not understand why this has happened, but I am no longer worried about it. Maybe one of my recently installed Firefox extensions did the trick. Once again, thanks for your support.
