After 36.0.3 update address bar only shows address of tabs.
Before the update, the address bar had the links to the pages that I used the most. Now it only shows the address of tabs that I currently have open (even across multiple sessions). Possible clue is that every address is preceded by "moz-action:switchtab," and then the address. Never saw that until this started happening. Odds are very good that it's something I missed, but it doe have me stumped.

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

Behaving as expected now. Must have been an add on that didn't play well.

Note that you can remove switch to tab items in the location bar drop down list by removing the checkmark on "Open tabs".
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Location Bar: When using the location bar, suggest:
History

Open tabs
