My spam guard program does not delete messages, please help.
Spam guard does not delete spam. The spam goes to the spam file but never deletes...the default I chose is one week, but still never deletes the spam.

Most spam-programs just marks mails as junk. You would scream bloody h..l if something were mistakenly mark as junk and deleted. In account settings / junk settings you can set how long it will stay in junk. You can also in global junk preference set what will happend when you mark it as junk. T-Bird can learn whats junk from that, if you let it.
