firefox crashing multiple times per day. best thing to be done is to copy crash message, but how do I do that for you? don't know much about computers and can't always ask someone else to do it for me. please be specific in your explanation. have already run full systems antivirus scan and removed what was quarantined.

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

One of those Bug reports might indicate an issue with Flash causing that particular crash. Three more don't give me much to hone in on as the cause of those crashes, and the fifth links to a Bug report that isn't accessible due to the content being related to s security issue with Firefox which won't be made public until the Bug is fixed and released.

I'm coming up dry for suggestions right now. Let's give it some time and see if someone else here has any ideas.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

You can also try to disable hardware acceleration in the Flash player and disable protected mode in the Flash player
