I run a recently installed computer lab for English learners in Ethiopia. We just got internet installed. I want to save bookmarks for good English learning websites and install Ad-Block. Whenever I close the browser and open it again. all of my history, bookmarks, and plug-ins disappear. How do I stop this from happening?

Also, how do I make sure that the navigation bar is visible by default?

Are you logging into Windows with a temporary user profile? If you are not sure, you may have to ask the system Administrator.

The Firefox stores profile information in C:\Users\<Windows login/user name>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile folder>. But if you login with a temporary user profile on Windows, all your customizations will be lost.

And it seems like you might be using a older version of Firefox. Get the latest version here: http://mzl.la/1voiGYq http://mzl.la/1voiGYq
