I have no menu icon
This evening I downloaded Ad-Aware and it completely changed the Firefox browser. I've done a system restore but now I have no menu icon. How can I restore this? All I have left on the browser is the new tab facility, bookmarks, download progress, home page and theme font size changer.

I've just found the answer to the problem. For anyone else who has this happen to them I right clicked on the plus sign of the new tab and a list of options came up which allowed me to restore the menu bar.

Note that you can use one of these to set which toolbars to show.
- "3-bar" Firefox menu button > Customize > Show/Hide Toolbars
- View > Toolbars
Tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar - Right-click empty toolbar area
I didn't have the three bar Firefox menu button. It was missing and if you Google the problem it tells you to use the three bar menu button and this is very frustrating. I only had the icons listed in my post.
Modified
Did you hide that button via the Classic Theme Restorer extension?
- You can check out the settings of the CTR extension via its Options/Preferences button on the "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" page.
- You can find extra toolbar buttons and more toolbar settings in Customize (3-bar Firefox menu button > Customize)
I'm not sure how all the icons disappeared but it's fine now that I can access the menu bar again. Ad-Aware changed some of the the browser settings. I thought my post might be useful for anyone else who has the problem of virtually no icons and no obvious way of restoring them.
