I have read all the instructions for adding addresses to Thunderbird emails, but nothing works. I have double clicked, I have dragged and dropped, I have right clicked and clicked add to To: but nothing has worked yet. I have a Windows 7 Pro operating system.

What happens if you type in an address?

In the current design of Thunderbird, the addressing fields are grey until you select one, at which point it will change colour. Does this happen for you?
