Firefox refresh problem

Once in a while, when I have multiple tabs open in Firefox (2 or more) and when I switch between them, I get this graphical glitch as if Firefox can't regresh the screen properly. What can I do?

I have hardware acceleration already disabled and I made Firefox run on my Nvidia card at maximum performance. Same issue with integrated graphics. Any suggestions welcome.

I'm using the latest (34.0.5) version and I currently have two addons installed: Adblock Plus and BetterTTV, both of which should be compatible.

You can try to disable OMTC and leave hardware acceleration in Firefox enabled.

  • about:config page: layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
