I wish they would stop setting "browser.search.showOneOffButtons;false". It removes search engine choices from the search box. Annoying! Happens with ea. upg.

That's a new feature that was introduced in Firefox 34.

"browser.search.showOneOffButtons = false" turns off the OneOffButtons. The default value for that pref is true.
