Can I set my own choice for a default folder to store bookmarks?

Instead of bookmarks being stored in the recent or unsorted folder by default, I want to set a different folder as the default. Directly marking to a specific folder can take 5 or 6 clicks. Quite tedious. Dragging marks to where I want them is, frankly, a drag.

Sorry, changing the "default folder" isn't possible.

I store most of my bookmarks in specific folders e.g. Media, Sport, Weather etc on the Bookmarks Toolbar. That takes a click on the star and two or three clicks to the final, specific folder
