There is no window or icon for a new message on my mail page ??

When using the mail system, there is no way I can generate " new " mail. There is no window or anything to select to generate an new message. I've done everything I know and tried to find it hidden somewhere on the page with no success....any help appreciated... db

New Message button is on the Mail Toolbar of the main window. Maybe you have lost your toolbars.

If you have no toolbars showing press the alt key to make the menu bar appear.

From the menu bar select View-Toolbars and turn on the missing toolbars.

The alt key or F10 will reveal hidden toolbars in most applications including Thunderbird.
