Suggestion - see if it works when disabling add-ons and preferences from the Sync process.

I made the changes and restarted firefox. No difference first error was unknown. Next error was server maint.

hello spainter, this is most likely an issue on the server side at the moment & nothing wrong on your particular installation/account. it's probably best to just sit this one out - sorry for the inconvenience...

It isn't doing it on my android cell phone. Firefox syncs with out a problem. Just errors on my computers.

the "GET fail 503" part of the log indicates a server error - unfortunately it's currently the weekend, so it might take a bit until this can be escalated to the sync team...
