First of all, a nice feature is what preceded this form (trying to answer my question, and, undoing/solving the duplicate messages workload), where I'm typing now.

I see point two to be descriptive. Good point.. but luckily I can be concise, and I'll get right to the point.

My father said that a contact form submitted in the browser doesn't (didn't) end up in Sent items of the email client. Which is probably a good point.

Would this be a good case to represent? It's no point though for a system administrator to do that manually. So it probably would need a script..

)

PS: just searched powerhungry Google for 'thunderbird contact form sent items' (should have done that in Thunderbird representation..); it might be good to separate one-subject content from other bits on the webpage.. maybe Google reads. A good case for hubs! Or webrings like we used to call them back then. All voluntarily.

Trying to read through all the extra junk in your post I think your question is why items sent with the web mail interface do not show in the sent folder of Thunderbird or any other email client. Best guess is that you are using POP email and that is how it works. POP email only interfaces with the inbox. If you want all folders to sync you need to be using IMAP email. Google that.

Touche! Mostly junk it is. (But thanks for answering still.)

I don't like to Google because of its power usage and extra handling, but I use it.

My father's messages aren't that much off topic though, he's mostly very to the point if he understands the matter, it would be nice to keep his sent messages record in Thunderbird, be it sent from Thunderbird, or Firefox, to see if it got sent.

Thanks for your IMAP redirection, attempting allowance (meeting my intensions) even though I was being explanatory and seemingly off topic. Perhaps Google is another topic. Cheers!

Marking this as [Solved the problem] so you don't have to wade through this again, being dutch and all.
