How does FF sync across 3 open instances on 3 pc's??

Lets say I have all 3 pc's on and FF is open on each. (humor me, I know, who has 3 pc's at the same time) Does the one I'm working on become the primary and changes the the others? In other words if I add some bookmarks on one and delete some will it delete them on the other pc's and add the new bookmarks on both? I guess another way to say it is If I have all 3 pc's on and I change the bookmarks will the other 2 pc's mirror the one I'm on? Deletions and additions? It seems sometimes instead of mirroring the one I'm on and execute changes they just get added to the other open browsers rather than removing ones I've removed on the pc I'm active on. Is that too unclear?

OK. Scenario: Let's say I've done a lot of bookmark maintenance on 1 pc. I go and turn on a 2nd pc. Open a FF browser on a 2nd pc. Is the 1st pc going to try to duplicate the one I've just turned on, which is now and old bookmark series?

OR, should I turn off SYNC when I'm done when I have all pc's as I want it? Now I'm getting a little confused so if you are I understand. Does anyone know what I'm trying to get across? Thanks so much for tackling this if you can. Jack ":-\\

Chosen solution

Only on the first sync of the first device will everything overwrite the account in the cloud. Everything else will merge and all three will continue to be merged. What does this mean, if you delete on one, it will delete/resolve on another when it syncs if you have bookmarks selected to sync.

Senario answer: The second pc will merge with the 1st and the first will be a mix of both. It may be possible to attach the second computer with a blank profile while the first is already organized if that is what you are going for? Please always have a local back up.Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles
