I cannot receive messages but can send them. Function stopped working suddenly

Last e-mail came in today at 12:56 PM. Received no new ones since then and get a time out message when I try to retreive messages.

I can send messages without any issues.

I have same issue with both my computer and cellphone.

I know my e-mil server is working as I can log in direct and retreive messages.

Lets think about this. 2 computers and a cell phone that cannot run Thunderbird. Why do you think this is a Thunderbird problem. Logging into web mail and getting messages tells you nothing about the status of your providers POP or IMAP server. Call them and ask if they have a problem.
