I reinstalled Firefox and it won't work anymore

I reinstalled firefox since Adblock had stopped working. Before that, apart from adblock, everything was fine. Once reinstalled, Firefox opens and all I get is a black screen. I am still able to reduce it or close it bit nothing else comes up. I ve reinstalled it again and exact same problem. I have no idea what happened...

hello MOIM, maybe that's an issue with hardware acceleration - first please try updating your graphics driver, or in case this doesn't solve the issue or there is no new version available at the moment, start firefox into safemode by pressing the shift key while the application is launching & disable hardware acceleration in the firefox menu ≡ > options > advanced > general (that setting will take a restart of the browser to take effect).
