What password is Thunderbird asking for?

I have a different ThinkPad and I want to connect Thunderbird to the Internet but it doesn't want to cooperate. It keeps asking me for a Password in the "Mail Account Setup". The one that I show in my notes no longer works. What do I do to get Thunderbird connected? As near as I can tell Thunderbird has found all the data for the ISP that I'm using. How do I get around this hurdle?
