Thunderbird cannot create any gmail.com account

I migrated my computer from WP to W7. I re-installed Thunderbird. My account on orange.fr was perfectly re-opened. But impossible to re-open my account on gmail.com although I provided the e-mail address and password (perfectly working on windows mail) : it says "unable to recognize configuration : user name of password not correct".... How can I solve that ? Thanks in advance !

I tried all proposed solutions.... Nothing ! I'ts puzzling, because I installed my Gmei Account on :

  1. Iphone
  2. Thunderbird on two other computer (W7 and W8)...

It was on Thunderbird before I migrated to W7....
