How do I transfer bookmarks from my XP PC to a new laptop with Linux Mint?
I'm currently using a 7 year-old laptop with Windows XP. I bought a new one and I plan to install Linux Mint. Do I follow the same instructions for transferring between computers when they have different OS?

Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the tool bar. Then select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control>(Mac:<Command>)<Shift> B. Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup. Select Export Bookmarks To HTML, and follow the prompts and save it to a HTML file.
