How do I keep Firefox from bringing up a previous session when I reopen my browser?
When I close out Firefox (all tabs) and go back in, and type a web address, i.e. www.hotmail.com, my session is still there. I don't need to log in again. This ONLY happens after a Firefox update. I have fixed it previously, and now cannot remember what I did. I want EVERYTHING gone when I close out the browser. I don't want someone to be able to open the browser on my workstation, go to hotmail, and have my email pop up. How do I permanently fix this issue?

You can change your startup options as follows:
- Under Tools > Options, or
> Options, go to the General tab and change the Firefox startup preference.
In the same Options dialog box, go to the Privacy tab and adjust your history section to what best suits you.

That was already done; checked the settings again, closed all tabs, reopened, went to hotmail, and I'm still logged in. As I said, this ONLY happens AFTER a Firefox update. Firefox updated either yesterday or last Friday ... and now this is happening again. Do I need to restart my computer for these changes to take place? My settings haven't changed in Tools ... I want all sessions to end when I close all tabs. This isn't happening.
