Trying to transfer sessions from old firefox profile to new but not working.

So i created a new profile because my old one kept crashing. I found both my old profile folder and new profile folder. I see all my old session titles and just copied the folder from old to new. I redownloaded session manager but nothing is coming up recognizing old sessions that should now also be in new folder. I have done this before and remember it being extremely simple. What is going wrong now? I am using Firefox 32 on a windows 7 pc. Thanks.

Sorry, I don't use that extension myself, but see if the documentation for Session Manager helps you figure that out.

http://sessionmanager.mozdev.org/documentation.html#other At the bottom of that section.

Backing up and restoring settings - Session Manager can back up and restore its settings. This can be done in the general options window.

I dont think that helps. This use to be as simple as copy paste or drag and drop. You would move the sessions folder to from old profile to new. Then when you redownloaded session manager all the old sessions were there. Now i see nothing. I cant figure this out. They are all there with the right names and everything but nothing is showing. Please someone must know the answer to this.

oh yea i should mention history and bookmarks work just fine its just the session manager which is crucial because it has over 1000 saved sites in different saved sessions.

I solved my own question( thank god because didnt look like much help was coming my way). I had simply dragged the manila folder named sessions to the new profile but you have to drag all the data out of the folder and paste. At least thats what worked for me.
