Is it possible to mute sound comming from one web page/tab while listening to the sound comming from another web page/tab? I have two computers, one running windows xp professional and using firefox 32 and the other using windows 7 running firefox 32.

Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it

If the sound is coming from Youtube, you can use Youtube Center. It can be set to automatically pause any other tabs playing videos (so if you start a new video, only that one will be playing).

You can get it here: https://github.com/YePpHa/YouTubeCenter/wiki If you use the script version, you'll also need the GreaseMonkey extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/

If the sound is coming from other sites, you will have to look on the specific pages for a mute function. Firefox doesn't have a built-in feature for it.
