restart firefox from computer shut down needs to restore everytime

When starting Firefox after computer startup. Firefox needs to restore. Either Firefox is not remembering or Ubuntu is not when the computer is shut down

Hi cliffm, Thank you for your question, to better understand the issue can you please elaborate on what you mean by restore? Is it session restore? is there a error or pop up that is mentioned when you start firefox? What does it look like? How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

  • How did you close Firefox? Did is close properly? File > Exit
  • You may be able to prevent this by going to the about:config page in the url bar, clicking "I understand the risks" and turning browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash to false.
