Nothing changed back in May 2014, but suddenly TB said my stored p/w was not authenticated for my verizon.net account. I tried resetting it, tried the 'other' possible p/w's - nothing. I gave up and just started using the VZ one on the net (not my preference- I LIKE all my email acct's in TB. I don't want to delete the account since there are many emails I 'need' to retrieve. I don't understand what's wrong with this particular account; my gmail one is fine through TB.

Here's my current settings: Server Type: POP Mail Server Server Name: incoming.verizon.net (I did try "pop.verizon.net" - didn't work) Port: 995 Connection Security: SSL/TLS

Suggestions? I need to get into these emails to retrieve some.

Thanks!

Chosen solution

NEVER MIND!! I figured it out -

I had "any method" (deprecation) for authentication and switched it to "normal password".

Got incoming mail again! YAY ME!  :)
