Did you lose the entire toolbar with send on it or just the send button itself?

Open a Write window.

Do you have a menu bar with File-Edit-View etc? If not press the alt key to make it appear.

From the menu bar select View-Toolbars and turn the missing toolbars back on. Send is on the composition toolbar.

If you have the composition toolbar but are missing the send button, right click the composition toolbar and select Customize. Find the Send button in the dialog box that opens and drag it back in place.
