Why doesn't my youtube video appear on my udesign wordpress website on firefox?
I have a udesign website that i uploaded my video to through youtube. it was working fine until i did the latest update. all the forums instruct everyone to use code but with my theme i don't even see where to put the code. i've also been reading about html5. is this a potential reason? i am not sure what to do at this point. Please Help!

Based on your initial description, you used a YouTube-specific button or widget on your WordPress site to embed the video.
The other way to do it is to paste code from YouTube (below the video, where it has the sharing options) to see whether that works better. You might want to start a new article and just use Preview rather than modify your main page, until you can confirm that it works.
When you are editing your post -- I don't know about udesign, I am only familiar with the regular WordPress -- you should see two tabs: Visual and Text. The Text tab lets you paste in HTML code. Then you can preview and see whether it plays.

hello,
First of all try to reset your firefox which will reset all the blocking setting to default which will surly solve your problem.
Thanks GUATAM24 for replying. Do I reset firefox in the general options?
YouTube likely uses a secure HTTPS link to embed the video, so it is possible that the video is blocked because of that.
You can check the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) for error messages about this.
Thanks cor-el. I have located it in the web console. It states that the video has been blocked. How do i unblock it? Also will this happen to everyone that views my site with firefox? How would I resolve this issue?
