Can I change the WCDMA band of ZTE Open C(US version) to 900/2100?

I couldn't get the EU version of ZTE Open C, only the US one, so can I change the WCDMA band to 900/2100? Is it limited by hardware or software?

The ROMs from comebuy don't help, they also destroy update channel and recovery, give me a hard time to flash back to the original ROM.

Hi caasi,

Did you have an issue purchasing the European version of the device? Unfortunately, the radio bands are limited by the hardware, so there is no way of changing them - you would have to acquire the European version.

I hope you find this information helpful. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

- Ralph

Thank you for the answer.

The reference phone is a littel out of my budget, and I ordered the Open C before you announced the free shipping Flame.

I still try to use the phone in my daily life, so I can feel what will happen to webapps when I only have 2G/EDGE connections.
