how do I get each new tab to open with Google.co.uk instead of a blank page?
Have just upgraded to Firefox v8. Previous version opened all new tabs with google search bar, (a lesser version of the igoole homepage). Has this feature been disabled or how do I enable it from the menu bar?

Disadvantage that you would have is that there would always be an entry in BACK of your first url actually opened by you.
This means that when you look to see if a tab should be closed you would have the highlighted BACK button when there is no need to go back, when what you really want to do is exit the tab along with its tab history because there is nothing of interest by going back.
