Incorrect message count
According to the ad, I have several hundred emails in my inbox. In fact, there are only about 25 in my profile folder. There are no more with my provider either. Where are all the emails located? Can the number be corrected? greeting D.S

What do you see after "Empty Trash"?
no change, even after "compressing"
Based on the image you uploaded: (1) The "Posteingang" folder and its subfolders contain a total of 658 messages. (2) The "Posteingang" folder itself contains 27 messages. (3) The above two points indicate that the subfolders of the "Posteingang" folder contain a total of 631 messages (= 658 - 27).
You can click the ">" icon before the "Posteingang" folder to expand all its subfolders and view the number of messages in each subfolder.

Oh, sorry I didn't think of it myself that the number in "Inbox" is the sum of all subfolders. Sorry.
