I have DELETED (Removed) 3 separate email accounts within Thunderbird,but it still attempts to "check" for new mail. How can I get Thunderbird to STOP trying to find these accounts?

just wondering.... If you had deleted the email accounts have you also deleted the outgoing server settings for them too? I had a similar problem a while back. zac
