Managing a large inbox

nospam17

Understand that TB does not have an upper limit to size of inboxes. I run a email-driven micro business and my imap inboxes grow in size very very rapidly. I have a super large storage with my email provider so storage is not an issue. I wonder if imap sub-folders can have less issues compared to a single imap inbox. Any advice will be appreciated.

First, I am NOT the technical guru on storage, but my concern would be the possible unnecessary movement of messages to other folders. That is, if there is no need to move the messages, the act of doing so seems to defeat the intent of lowering resource use.

Actual numbers would be more helpful in providing you with thoughtful advice. And describe the workflow.

That said, keeping thousands of emails in an Inbox that have been acted upon are best not kept in an Inbox.
