Hello, after a Windows update on the C drive, I didn’t notice that my Thunderbird profile was stored in a non-standard location and everything got deleted. The emails were stored in local folders. Is there any hope or possibility to recover the emails on the mailbox? Or is the only option left to just hope it hasn’t been overwritten and try recovery tools? A cry from the soul

Please post more information, such as the location of the profile, a screenshot of the profile there. Also, please see if there is anything at c:\users\<yourid>\appdata\roaming\thunderbird. When you click help>troubleshootinginformation,, scroll down to 'profiles' and click 'about:profiles', does it identify the profile in that new location? Thankyou
