First, switch to table view:

- go to TB menu > View > Layout > check 'Message List Header' if not already checked

- click the [Message list display options icon (https://i.imgur.com/O6uwf0C.png to the right of the Quick Filter button

- choose Table View

Then you can click the Date or Received column header to sort by date. When done, switch back to Cards view if you want to.
