I wrote this almost 15 years ago,https://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com/2010/10/moving-from-windows-live-mail.html I guess most of it is still current. except for the import export tools addon. It is here now. https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools-ng/?src=ss

But I have not had a copy of windows live mail in many years, and it dod go through a couple a interations and name changes over the years. So I am relying on what I wrote a long time ago as I have nothing more recent.
