Hi. I want to stop receiving new emails in to one of my gmail accounts (EMAP), but keep the old emails there for reference. I have unticked the three boxes in Account Settings > Server Settings for that particular email account, but new emails are still arriving in to it. Am I doing something wrong, or missing something?? Thanks.

IMAP is a living account. The only way to stop is to either remove account or remove password so the signin gives regular 'incorrent password' message. If you want to keep the messages, but not the account, I suggest COPYing the messages to Local Folders and then close the account.

Went the Local Folder route. Thank you very much.

You are very welcome. :)
