How to automatically set next email in the preview pane

I am not sure what you mean. Do you mean that after you delete or move a message, you want message pane to show the next message automatically? If that is the case, then the following steps might be helpful: "Settings" > "General settings" > "Interaction" > "After deleting or moving a message" > choose "Show next message".
