Hi Hap, try the Tools menu. Press Alt+T on your keyboard to activate it. In the latest versions of Firefox, you should find Settings. In older versions, you should find Options. Can you find either of those?

I shud say I finally found settings under 3 lines, but dunno where to go after that

You can look for Settings in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list.
