Where are my bookmarks

I have asked this before and obviously nobody has actually read the question. FF automatically downloaded a completely NEW VERSION (not updating the old, but totally new). I now have both versions on the computer. I am using the new only ONLY for this at the moment until I get an actual answer to the question. The question is that the NEW version did NOT import any of my bookmarks etc. from the older version. How do I get those bookmarks into the new version? I had thought the sync function would do it, but that apparently is only for other things entirely. I'm starting to think that codewriters should be REQUIRED to take at least 9 hours of English (post high school).
