how to keep "last used folder" active when making a new bookmark?

I'd like to keep "last used folder" active when making a new bookmark. That would be of huge help because I could then bookmark with one click only. Firefox 38.3.0.

You can look at this extension:

   Add Bookmark Here 2: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/add-bookmark-here-2/

That only makes things more complicated, in my opinion. I don't even use Meny and Bookmarks bars. I just wanted to bookmark with one click on the star to the last bookmark folder where I bookmarked a page. This is how it used to function some time ago, and it was standard behavior to save the configuration of a dialog window (in this case the Add Bookmark dialog window). I don't know why have they changed this, certainly not because programming was too complicated and they externalized it to an add-on.

The other functionality change which disappointed me is to search the same string on all tabs. I understand that it is logical to have a different string on each tab, but it was so easy to search quickly something on all tabs ... :) And no way to change this, I suspect.

So thank you for your answer, anyway.
