  8. We heard back from the engineers, when you see loading issues, please ask the reporters to do to submit a profile of the issue occurring. We have documentation here: https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/performance/reporting_a_performance_problem.html

    Thanks a lot again!

  10. Hi folks,

I've added bunch of known issues recently in our release wiki for Firefox 139, including the most recent one: NYT site is broken for Firefox desktop users, which is a webcompat bug. So far, I've only seen the following threads, but I'm concerned if we're going to see more since this is such a high traffic site:

Please flag if you see something else, as we may need an incident tag if we see more. Thanks, all!

  12. Hi everyone,

There was a report of Firefox using 90%+ of the device's memory. My friend has just encountered a similar issue with memory used by Firefox increasing progressively up to 90%+. I believe that's a legitimate problem connected to memory leaking, probably affecting some (small?) group of users.

I haven't seen any other reports, but let's keep an eye on that. I would appreciate adding related questions here if you come across them. Thanks!

  13. Denys, tell your friend to make a list of all the addons they have installed. In most of these cases, it's either a certain addon or a certain site that causes the high memory or high cpu. The user in that question you linked tracked the problem back to uBlock Origin. Once they disabled it, the high memory went away. Betting your friend has uBlock Origin as well. If not, it's still a good idea to disable ALL addons & surf as usual to see if the problem still exists.

Thanks for the advice, I haven't considered extensions as a possible reason.

    There were even more reports:

One of the users, however, has reported it was caused by an extension (Bypass Paywalls).
