Just started today - Firefox is using 90%+ of laptop memory, then system hangs up

This problem just began today on my Win 11 laptop. Firefox is current - 139.0.4. Win 11 is current. No new software has been installed. Firefox hangs up and will not move. Task manager shows FF is consuming more than 90% of my 16GB memory. I must end the FF task to get up and running again.

Seems to be related to UBlock Origin. If I go to a local TV station website, and view a news video, for example, this is when the hang up occurs. This is a new problem, as I have done this frequently in the past without any issues. Once I disable UBlock, everything is fine. Thanks for the reply.

Seems to be related to UBlock Origin. If I go to a local TV station website, and view a news video, for example, this is when the hang up occurs. This is a new problem, as I have done this frequently in the past without any issues. Once I disable UBlock, everything is fine. Thanks for the reply.
