I am running W11, and use Thunderbird and Firefox, with Dudk Duck Go, but since downloading TB139.0.2 TB has become schizophrenic If I click on the TB con,the latest version of TB displays and I find it difficult to negotiate. But if I double click on that icon the older version of TB loads and seems to work OK

I am trying to install Firefox on my new iMac. I can download the Firefox.dmg file and click the Eject "Firefox", but Firefox is not appearing in my Applications folder. What am I doing wrong? How do I get it to transfer?

Hello Team My name is Sergii and Im C# Automation engineer and working with desktop automation for Firefox (latest version, 139.0.4). I have noticed interesting issue when for some VDI's (Windows Server 2019 Standart, OS Build 17763.7009) Firefox doesn't have Desktop Automation ID, while for my Windows 10 and Windows 11 machines everything is visible (Please checks screenshots). Do you know how to fix this? I have tried to install browser through the same Firefox Installer.exe file but looks like server detecting another OS version and downloading some another file... Thanks!

I look after about 20 PCs. All Windows 10. All were running Firefox ESR ranging from 115 - 128. As I get time I update each to the latest 128.x. Using group policies I've disabled all update settings.

However, on two of the PCs, they have updated to v139.0.1. Both of the users swear they did not manually do any update. I can't figure out how they got downgraded to the retail channel.

So my question is, since 128 < 139 how can I get them back on to the ESR channel, without loosing history, bookmarks, passwords and saved logins? I gather FF's installer will detect 128 as an older version and throw an error?

ESR -> Retail to me is a downgrade. So is it possible then to upgrade back to 128.11.x?

Each PC is refreshed annually and the only backup of the profile folder I have is from the last refresh, which in most cases in 8-9 months old.

Is there any way to find out why the downgrade happened when group policy forbids it, and the user did not manually download and install the latest version?

When these downgrades happen they break things. For example, when one PC was downgraded to retail his outlook.com email no longer works. If he uses his laptop which is on 128.11.0 it works fine.

I require a copy of Firefox focus for my 87 year old mothers recent purchase of a bergstom android smart phone. My Mum knows absolutely Zero about the internet!! While I am happy for her to be able to browse the web, I am worried about here online safety and an email address increases her chances of signing into a site and imputing sensitive data. Hopefully, over time, if she learns the basic and the risks involved she can further explore the wonders of the internet? I am happy to send a telephone no, to which a direct link for the download could be sent.

firefox keeps knocking me out of certain web sites such as discovery netflix ,telling me to update to the latest version then restart it but no luck so far please help me ,as i still getting payed for the webpages but still can not watch because i need latestversion of firefox please help.

I have installed the VPN on Mac Desktop but haven't been able to turn on VPN. The icon is present in the top taskbar but only has options to quit or hide.

Dear Team, I was asked to start an upload in Firefox. I tried that. I get the message 'Couldn't load XPCOM' What do I have to do to restart Firefox? It's urgently needed for account verification!
