In Thunderbird 151.0.1 [64 bit] I get the following error message: Error Inbox - inbox on .....[my email address] "There is not enough disk space to download new messages. Try deleting old mail, emptying the trash folder and compacting your mail folders and then try again." I did all of that, even went into windows disk cleanup to free up more disk space. I get the same error message. I have 3 email accounts in Thunderbird, only one account has this problem. When I use Outlook express I do not get any error messages but I do get a malicious email that AVG intercepts. So how can I purge bad email from Thunderbird ? Or what else may be going on and what else could I try ? I have deleted all old emails, in Thunderbird, I routinely delete old emails. Thanks alot Sam

They aren't showing in TRASH anymore, or SENT....they are disappearing and I have to check with my customer and they aren't receiving them. Big problem. I have used Apple Mail, GMail and Outlook; i am hoping that Thunderbird will achieve (relative) zero inbox.
My objective is to create an inbox that observes established rules/filters and directs my emails into the appropriate folders. I was hoping that Thunderbird would achieve this objectives but I have so far been unsuccessful.
I would be happy to screenshare with an appropriate technician in order to resolve this issue as its becoming increasingly frustrating.

When I try to send an email via Thunderbird using my email account it errors out with a smpt error. I went in and deleted all the passwords (like it said online) to force a screen to pop up. Then I closed Thunderbird and restarted it with no success.
Why can I not send emails from my account?

I've recently changed one of my emails from example@cpsupply.com to example@yardsignninjas.com and I've been able to send email to other accounts most times. Sometimes the email never gets to the address I'm sending to. However, I haven't been able to receive any emails to the example@yardsignninjas.com and I need to verify it for an application i need to use for work. Why isn't this edited email address receiving mail when I use the new name?

Why Does Thunderbird Hang When Saving Draft? Right after creating a new email, and I "Save to Draft", Tbird says "Copying messages to Drafts" at bottom left of GUI.
The only way I could see to clear the "Copying..." message was to have Tbird check for mail in a different account. When I check for the draft in Drafts, it's not there - it's no where I checked except the original still in it's own opened GUI that opens when using "New Message"
Bottom line - can't save drafts.

I have about 19,000 + emails in one of my email accounts , I do not want to delete all of them , just select groups , like for example I have about 392 emails from Newegg , what I want to do is get all of them in 1 place (I did this using the Filter Emails) , then I want to delete them all , but I don't want to delete EVERY email I have stored
I tried but I couldn't find any way to do a mass delete , like a Select All , Delete , I couldn't even find Delete unless it was for each email , which would take forever to sort through 19,000+ emails and delete the ones I want deleted , but leaving the rest
Is there any way to do this ?? , or is there a reason this has not been implimented ?? , it seems like a no brainer , basically my email is running slow , so when I click delete on a email , there is a pause before it deletes , I am assuming because of the backlog of emails (already read) that I have in my Inbox that I didn't delete at the time , and now have literally thousands of them
Basically what I was hoping for is to be able to take say ALL Newegg emails , and put them together , then do a Select All and Delete , but I couldn't find any way to do this , that way I get rid of the ones that have expired , but keep other emails from other people/buisnesses and just do Selective Mass Deletion

Apparently I also have 3 thunderbirds running on my machine . I don't know how to get rid of the old ones

If the "from" incoming message doesn't contain "any of the following" ".com" ".org" or ".net" move it to "junk". It moved .com and .org messages to junk anyway. What did I do wrong? There are too many TLDs to create a filter for all of them.
