When I download an update and restart firefox, it opens a https://www.firefox.com/en-US/whatsnew/ tab. I want it to not do this.

Back in September 2025 we had the same issue for months and it was due to a Mozilla bug. This just happened today after the last Firefox update. I have a desktop with windows 10 and a pretty new laptop with windows 11 both from Dell. They both have the same problem.

I get the email from One Drive and I see the pictures on the email. I click on them to got One Drive to see them all and it goes gray, not loading pictures. I can see them in the Edge browser!!!!!

I really hope this does not take moths to be fixed again.

I'd like to subscribe and pay for Mozilla VPN on a PC and Android phone, but, don't want to initiate and pay for the subscription via Google Play. I'd rather manage the subscription for the service via a browser based interface on a PC, but, it seems like this is not currently possible. Is that the case?

I see someone else has already asked similary: Mozilla VPN availability on F-Droid would also be a plus.

Why is Firefox always crashing on Windows-XI, especially from third-party servers and whenever scrolling? This has been happening for the last nine months (ver.146>Beta), at least. Does my SSD need replaced and/or my Win-XI reinstalled? Either way, this is happening on every Firefox browser that I have, including Windows-XPIII> and Android-16>. This is where my team always swore that Java6>, .Net3>, Python3>, and even Swift3> love to crash all user-interfaces/shells, and make users lose all random access memory. Is there any suggestion to fix this bug of Firefox, or must I replace the SSD?

Whilst on various websites, reading articles or even on Gmail, Firefox takes me off them and takes me to Recent Browsing and I have to click on the website from there - this happens frequently.

I’m experiencing an issue with YouTube watch history specifically in Mozilla Firefox.

I am signed in to my YouTube account, and when I watch videos in Firefox, those videos are not being added to my YouTube watch history. However, the same or any other videos I watch on other browsers and on other devices are correctly appearing in my YouTube history.

This appears to be specific to YouTube usage in Firefox.

Could you please investigate whether there is a Firefox-specific issue affecting YouTube watch-history registration, such as cookies, site data, privacy settings, or compatibility with YouTube?

Details:

   Browser: Mozilla Firefox
   Account: Signed in to YouTube
   Issue: Videos watched in Firefox do not appear in YouTube watch history
   Other browsers/devices: YouTube history works normally
   Reproducible: Yes, when watching videos through Firefox

Please let me know if there are any Firefox settings, troubleshooting steps, or diagnostic information you need from me to investigate this further.

Latest Stable Firefox, windows, over 4000 tabs. Overall Firefox works great for me. but when I restart it to install the latest versions etc, it only restores one active/loaded tab per window. Rest are restored, but in a closed/unloaded state. I usually have 5-20 open tabs per window, and hundreds more unloaded, it's how I work. How on earth can I get it to restore all the open/loaded tabs as they were, not in the unloaded state they default to?

Issue still occurs in a new install with no addons, default settings, under 30 tabs etc. Ditto Win 10 or 11.

Also, how on earth can I get official Mozzilla pages to use Dark Mode??

Hello, I am having a problem with Mozilla Firefox on Windows 10.

Firefox sometimes keeps loading continuously and some websites do not open properly or take a very long time to load. My internet connection is working normally, and the same websites may work better in another browser.

I have tried closing and reopening Firefox, restarting my computer, and refreshing the website, but the problem still happens.

Please help me check what may be causing this problem and how I can repair or reset Firefox without losing my bookmarks, passwords, and important data.

I turned off my HP computer with Windows 11 on August 1. Everything was working fine at that time. When I turned it on again on August 18, everything worked except email. I can get email on my iphone, but not on my computer. I spent over an hour trouble-shooting with someone representing my email server, tds.net, with no resolution. I tried to access my email thru Firefox, my usual browser, as well as thru Edge. The message I get when trying to access my tds email is: "The connection has timed out. The server at mail.tds.net is taking too long to respond." I then went to an IT specialist who tried everything he could, including disabling Bitdefender, and nothing worked. I then tried to open an email account with gmail.com and received this message: "The page isn’t redirecting properly. Firefox can’t connect to the server at accounts.google.com." I don't know what else to try. Everything I read said the it is likely a problem with my anti-virus software, but the problem still exists when that is turned off. Is there anything else I can try???

The problem is illustrated in the first image attached: Google Maps shows no image, just solid black. This does not occur in browsers other than Firefox.

After restarting my laptop, the same problem persists, but on first going to the Google Maps website the usual image of my neighborhood flashes, then disappears to be replaced by the black.

The second attached image shows four possible causes and fixes offered by Google AI. I tried them all, and nothing made any difference. This image also shows that the thumbnail image appears when my cursor hovers over the tab in which Maps is open.

The only thing out of the ordinary I did before this problem occurred was browsing the Firefox Extensions on advice of Google AI to turn off the intrusive "Genius" AI pop-ups, but I didn't discover anything relevant and I don't think I made any changes.

I'd welcome any suggestions for what to try next,

One of my "Login required" sites (Call it Site One) is prompting me with a username when I click into the Username entry box. Unfortunately, the username it's prompting me for is from "Site Two".

I have never saved a username for Site One. The username it's prompting me with is from a completely different domain name, Site Two.

I searched Usernames/passwords and found only one occurrence for the username it is prompting with. It's properly listed under the correct Site Two. I deleted it anyway to test. That made no difference: it still appears in the drop down for Site One (after restarting Firefox).

Just to be clear: Site One has no stored usernames or passwords. I've never stored a username or password for Site One. I have done so for Site Two (but again, that's now deleted). Yet this username, which is now not stored anywhere in Firefox, is still appearing as a prompt for Site One.

Lastly, this is not a new issue. This problem dates back months.

I've rebooted, even did a hard reboot, total 3 times, tried system restore, 1 hour past update, deleted Firefox, reinstalled, still "in use", deleted Norton, still same. Reinstalled norton. There NO BUTTON, SWITCH, there! I can File, new blank page, still nothing. Sort of reminds me of automakers, all look alike! Left side, simple, turn on sc or import, at the opening first time, import short cuts and bookmarks from previous page, turn off Newsweek. Simple, without the hassle of now, those that have cleared, happy for you! For me same thing at the top, yellow bar, "in use!"

I am having issues keeping a single profile on firefox. all of my tabs and bookmarks would disappear every other log in which makes using this browser harder than it should be. What is something I can do to make sure my bookmarks and tabs are there? I tried to delete other profiles but am not getting any responses from the browser as well.

Hello. I am trying to start using Mozilla VPN, I linked my account, but afterall, it refuses to connect. It just say, that he "couldn't connect to VPN", it doesn't even mark the reason or gives some feedback. In settings it still offer to get started, despite i've already added account and it should work. What could be causing this? P.S. I have already relaunched a browser:)
