I have a Brother MFC-L2707DW printer. It quit scanning so I deleted the drivers and uploaded current drivers. It now scans and prints EXCEPT from the Firefox browser.

After upgrading to 149.0.2 (64-bit), when starting FF or opening an new tab, the preferred URL is not loaded. It is configured in Settings/Home/New Windows and Tabs All previuos FF versions were OK with the same URl (https://search.yahoo.com/web/advanced)

I had a problem where FF 140.0 would not update, and in trying to get FF yo update, I used a re-install tool to which I was pointed in my problem report. This caused FF to wipe out my configuration, and I lost all my windows and tabs. I have gone to

    \Appdata\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Proifiles\abnfpged.default

cleared all of the data therein, and restored that directory from a backup I made last Monday. But I cannot get FF to use that directory. "about:profiles" shows only two profiles, but the Profiles directory has five profiles:

Only the profiles beginning with "j" and "f1" are seen in the "about:profiles" screenshot I have attached. And I have attached a screenshot of my profiles.ini file. Also, in the abnfpged.default directory I restored, where is the list of all of my open windows and tabs? FF used to keep that in a sessionstore.jsonlz4 file, but that file is only written when FF closes. I tried to save a copy when I was having problems, but I stored the copy in the same directory, which FF changed during the re-install process. Here is my profiles,.ini file:

I have not worked with the ;profiles.ini file in many years, as my FF configuration has not had problems. Thanks.

Whit the new things of the profiles or something I just didn't like it so I just delete the thigs that appear in my face, but that deleted all my stuff(hystory, bookmarks, passwords), I supossley had all on my account on mozilla but it's not there, i don't know what to do, I already try the backup or something that appear in the support page but the only profile that is older than the rest doesn't work or is empty, pls I need help

I am running Firefox 149.0 (64-bit) on Windows 10. FF tells me that there is an update. I downloaded the update, and when I restart FF, it does not update. Version 149.0 is re-started, and Help --> About Firefox again tells me to restart to upgrade. I have tried the upgrade at least three times.

I used Pocket for a while. It was excellent since it allowed taking a webpage and converting it to a document that could be copied and pasted to Microsoft word. This allowed further analysis and work on the contents of the page and was extremely useful.

Now that Pocket is gone is there another extension or a purchased extension that does the same thing on the present day Firefox.

I presently use Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Appreciate any suggestions.

I struggled some time with download links, no matter what filename I specified in the download="filename" attribute, the file I got was always download(1..n). Now I put all into one zip archive. I have a german and an english page, the link is:

. I can't see a difference except the language. But: the download of the german link comes as "download.zip". The one from the english one as "backup.zip". WHY???

Bonjour, lorsque je veux me connecter à ma boite mail Zimbra de Free un message indiquant "chargement en cours" s'affiche après avoir rentré mon identifiant et mot de passe mais rien ne se passe, la page indiquant se message reste fixe. My iMac automatically updated to the latest version of Firefox and now Firefox won't open at all. I keep getting an error message about installing a helper tool. I tried both installing the Helper Tool and canceling (see attached image) with no success. Please advise.

Since a few days I'm unable to download or re-install Firefox on my laptop. This follows performance problems which I wanted to solve by uninstalling / reinstalling the browser. The installing process ultimately times out.

I have very often issues with Firefox/Captcha. Captcha is not recognized by GFirefox, and the communication with the website using Captcha is blocked. It is very irritating. When it won't be fixed I need to move to another browser
