I just started using TB about 2 weeks ago. I have not even gotten to the point of installing a eml to mbox software to move my folders, etc into TB from emClient. I am changing because emC quit authenticating 'out of the blue'. I have been getting and sending emails perfectly well in TB until about 4 days ago. I get a message that says it cannot connect to Comcast server. Nothing about authentication or a password. It just stopped! I talked to Comcast tech support today and they said everything on their end looked good. I have spent several hours tonight going thru TB checking everything, reading this forums notes on unable to connect, restarted a couple of times, etc. Needless to say, I am not happy and really don't know if I should ditch TB and go to a 3rd different email program. (Note: I am not one who changes often or without a fight to keep a program.) I have been with emClient for over 10 yrs. All their suggestions have not worked. I like TB and really want it to work. Suggestions please.

Do not want customers to neglect. You do too due to inability inability to download your browser. Then make it crystal clear where to get the link.  For downloading your browser.

I've been banging my head against a wall trying to figure this one out. Every time a video plays on youtube, reddit, etc it will show normal colors for a split second then it will darken it and wash out the colors. Not sure what is causing this.

Things I've tried: gfx.color_management.native_srgb to true in about:config Changing video settings in nvidia control panel Turning off hardware acceleration Restarting browser and PC Updating browser and video drivers, windows as well Turning off all extensions Trying with codecs both deactivated and reactivated

No other browser does this and ALSO when I run firefox in private mode it doesn't happen and videos run normally. Also when I try to record or take a screenshot of it it looks normal. Thank you for any assistance.

2 issues I have with android FF.......

I want my tabs like in the PC version,in a line across the top. Not hidden under a click me to see tabs.

History keeps showing in shortcuts,how to stop that?

My FF version 126.0.1 browser history file size is stuck at 10,240 KB. Until recently it was 54,000 KB and change. I would like to get it larger. I've tried all the recent help postings relating to places.history.expiration.max_pages, places.history.expiration.transient_current_max_pages, browser.history_expire_days, browser.sessionhistory.max_entries or browser.sessionhistory_max_entries, and so on. Nothing seems to be able to change the "places" file size. Anyone have any more info on this topic?

I got this weird error on my computer when trying to use Thunderbird after a power outage. ( see attached file)

All the Dreamhost server settings are good on the computer. I am is getting the emails on my Android phone, there seems to be some security issue cert with Dreamhost that is not satisfied.

I have read about uninstalling Thunderbird and re-installing to clear any glitches but just want to make sure there is no simple fix before I go and uninstall. Will this kill the whole application or will the profile remain and keep all the initial settings so I can get back to my normal setting once reinstalled?

Today, Thunderbird has switched servers on my two email accounts. My two accounts are a Cox email which has been moved over to Yahoo and a business account which uses Gmail. I have messages on the Yahoo server but when I ask Thunderbird to "Get Messages", I can see from the info at the bottom of the screen that it's checking Gmail not Yahoo.

Okay, all of a sudden it's now back on track. I don't understand how this glitch came about. Hopefully, it won't happen again.

Apparently, from the bits I've read, the "solution" is to scrap Thunderbird and start anew with the knowledge that I set up my accounts "wrong" because I relied on the automatic setup and was ... led astray???

Frankly I expected better.

The reason I tried to switch to Thunderbird was because Apple Mail was behaving erratically (forcing threaded view though it was turned off) and there was no way to contact anyone about problems. However, typical for Apple because they don't communicate with users, the problem seem to have mysteriously resolved.

Anyway I'm switching back to Apple. For now. Because I don't want to play guessing games with my email about how to do things properly. Frankly, I'd switch to Gmail which all of my friends say behaves well. But I also don't want to be tracked and Google is evil in this regard. So here I am.

Every half hour the browser freezes and turns off, this did not happen in previous versions of the browser, some bug was made during the development of the update, it is necessary to fix the bug and release the update

Due to a recent major security breach I started changing all of my passwords on my main desktop, I did not have sync on at the time. I then opened up my work laptop (again unsynced) and decided I should really use the sync feature to transfer my 500+ passwords onto my laptop for when I travel.

When I got home that evening, I turned on the sync feature on my main desktop, unfortunately it pulled all of my compromised passwords from my laptop and overwrote the ones on my main desktop. Is there anyway to restore my pre-sync passwords and ensure that they get transferred to my laptop instead please.

I did lost all history data after a previous update, my user got corrupted data and somehow I did manage to import the info into Edge browser. To my surprise after I reinstalled a clean Firefox, it only imported back 3 months of browsing history. Topically, average user keep a computer 3-4 years.. I don't know from where developers came with the idea of limiting to such a shot interval. I have thousands of browsing history links from more that 10 years kept and I need them all.

Tried to increase the number from about:config, but there is an option only for Chrome which I never used and always hate :)

I did installed Chrome to convince myself about it's ingenuity, even if it was not necessary. It does have import option only from Microsoft Explorer, no Edge.

If there is a solution for importing a longer period and high number of entries, please share it.

I'm not an IT expert, but I can manage consoles if there is an even deeper option to modify config files.

I have been facing this issue when accessing Google Drive using Firefox, after selecting a file and clicking on "File information" option the "Details" and Activity" tabs simply don't load, as you can see in these screenshots.

Also, I found this thread also here on Mozilla Support from two years ago that reports the same issue. Apparently the bug was solved but ended up returning in most current versions.

I opened the current thread just to report this bug again. Thanks.

Firefox was logged into my account and synced before migrating computer to Azure AD. After installing and logging into the fresh install of Firefox, there is no data associated with the account. It looks as though it was created today, even though I logged into the pre-existing account. I even have emails to this account from over a year ago.

Any way to recover?
