I am not sure what to do first. I already paid for the VPN subscription. I reinstalled Mozzilla VPN but have not yet put the sudo lines in that are listed in the help on Firefox. Can you send me an email with instructions and any special sudo lines I need to intall so I do not get charged a second time. I heve the recovery code. I am new to Mint. Windows 11 started knocking out my hardware with power surges. Had to come from the operating system itself since the machine is hooked to a power backup that smoothes the current out. I searched, and all the internet results I find tell me to look in the settings:applications:mailto ddlb and select Yahoo. The problem is that it's not there.

There is a "use other" but there's no hint on how I'd tell it to open https://mail.yahoo.com.

How do I get it to open Yahoo mail?

A heart has recently been included in the Firefox icon in my taskbar. What's the reason for it and what do I have to do so that the Firefox icon no longer has it? I've run a number of antimalware programs and they came up with nothing.

Hi, I am trying to export a calendar from a Windows 10 PC into a Lubuntu PC. The exported Home.ics file is about 217KB. At stage 4 in the import process (which shows the file name correctly) a message in red says "No importable items found in the file" . In the main area it says "Loading items" but nothing happens. Am I missing something here? Thanks

how to add Yahoo search as default search engine if Yahoo is missing on Firefox Search. on Search setting i can see different engines Google, Bing, Ebay, etc. but there is no Yahoo.

Three days ago this started happening. When I mouse over the Firefox icon on my task bar, I get a long vertical list of open tabs, the majority of which are blank. When you try to click the X (that appears on the right side of the list when you mouse over a blank space) nothing happens. In the past few days it showed a random mix of blank tabs and open tabs. Yesterday it only showed the open tabs at the top with a long list of blanks below. And today it's only showing the one tab I have active (despite having up to five tabs open before I took the picture).

Before this all started happening, it used to show large tab previews (not just text) that run horizontally along the bottom of my screen when I hover my mouse over the Firefox icon on the taskbar. Now it's just a list that goes vertically with all these blank tabs.

How to return things to normal? (tab previews horizontally without blanks)

I'm running Windows 11 Home, Version 25H2, OS build 26200.7623 and Firefox: 147.0.1 (64-bit)

I have enabled the option to open the previous windows and tabs. I had one window that I always closed last as it had a lot of groups that are important for my work, so it used to open every time I started Firefox. Sometimes, even if I closed the window by mistake without closing other windows, I was able to get it back by pressing ctrl+shift+n.

But yesterday, I might have closed it by mistake and when I pressed ctrl+shift+n , it didn't come back. I wasn't able to access my window and now it's all gone. I don't see anything in recently closed windows in history.

I need those tabs back as they are very important for my work. they were a lot of tabs. I had many groups but now all are gone. I tried by using the previous.jsonlz4 in the sessionstore-backup by renaming it in the default-release profile as sesstionstore.jsonlz4 but still wasn't able to access my window.

I didn't clear my history as the tabs opened in the window still show up in the history.

Kindly help as soon as possible

The last I was able to send an email from my laptop (W11 Home) was 5 days ago. I've made no changes in Thunderbird (140.6.0esr (64-bit)). I've checked with my ISP (PenTeleData - ptd.net) and all is ok. I checked with Norton (360 deluxe); turned off firewall temporarily and tried to send again. Still getting same message.

I can't send anything. I updated at 3 ish and now it says the following : "Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) promail.ptd.net failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again."

Ever since Firefox updated (to 147.0, I assume), I can no longer get ChatGPT to work. It does nothing when I click on "Log in" (I have a ChatGPT account), and the up arrow that you hit (or enter button) after asking a question does nothing (and the up arrow stays greyed out even while you are typing the question). I can use ChatGPT just fine on my Safari browser and iPhone. I used my iPhone ChatGPT to take me through steps to help, and it had me do several things (all of which did not work). These included: 1) refreshing the page/restarting; 2) open chat.openai.com, clicked lock icon and clicked "clear cookies and site data" and reloaded the page; 3) did same and clicked on the shield icon and toggled off "enhanced tracking protection"; 4) Went to file and "new private window", then chat.openai.com; 5) went to "about:support" in Firefox and clicked "refresh Firefox"; 6) Went to Firefox Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Permissions, then Block pop-up windows, then clicked exceptions and added "https://chat.openai.com"; 7) Then to Firefox Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site data, then manage exceptions, then added also "https://openai.com"; 8) Then changed enhanced tracking protection to Custom and unchecked cookies (cross-site tracking cookies) and restarted Firefox (I have since rechecked the box); 9) When I log into Firefox, it was showing a banner that read "Your privacy matters. Firefox now securely routes your DNS requests whenever possible to a partner service to protect you while you browse." Chat said to click "Disable" for this.; 10) After refreshing Firefox I chose (the 2nd time) "Restore only the ones you want" and opened a new tab. 11) At one point, I hit "Log in" for ChatGPT and the screen went slightly blurry and a new small rounded rectangular box (about 3 inches long) popped up, and Chat told me to hit the "X" to close that box, it then said to right-click on "Log In', and to choose "open link in new tab", but that option was not available. Chat says Firefox is still failing to load the embedded login frame, even after refresh. 12) I logged into "https://chat.openai.com/auth/login, and that still didn't work in Firefox, either. 13) Finally, I changed to Safari and successfully logged in. But I prefer Firefox as my main browser and want ChatGPT to work! I've even tried adding it to my sidebar (the new feature), and the same problems are occurring. It won't let me log in, and I can't ask it any questions. Help!  :)

All of the shortcuts that Fire Fox created for my oft-used websites stopped working on my iPad. Nothing happens when I select any of them. It may be related to my recent upgrade to iOS 26, but I believe they continued to work for a time after my upgrade.

How do I uninstall Privacy Badger. It's been disabled, but not uninstalled. Please be specific as to keystrokes, screens, boxes, location of item. Many instructions tend to overuse computer jargon or common industry synonyms used daily within their sphere, which a laymen cannot easily translate, and often raise more questions than they answer. i still can't believe there is no way to print emails in your mobile app. I even downloaded the beta, but it also gave me no way to print an email. What's my money going to? I've seen many people ask for this its such a basic operation. I'm hoping you will get this, or I will have to change to another program

In V.10, it used to be I had to really swipe all the way left for delete to occur.

Now in V.13 only a small/partial movement deletes.
