Hallo everybody who wants to help me, A few days ago, YouTube opened a tab in my browser without being asked. How can I stop this? It started with youtube automatically opening the installed app every day. I then uninstalled the app. Since uninstalling it, youtube opens a tab in my firefox every day, which I don't want. Hello, I have a problem with sending out emails. I can receive them but not send. when I set up an email and click on send, it does the spellcheck then attempts to send it, then a dialogue box comes up with: 'log into server smtp.iprimus.com.au with user name janas_3 failed'. It gives me the options of: Retry, Enter new password or cancel. I have tried using the existing password, and a new one and nothing works. I have contacted my Internet provider, who checked all the account settings, which were correct. Their advice was to contact Thunderbird for support, can you help me please?

Several days ago we inadvertently deleted batches of emails from our two Thunderbird Gmail accounts on our PC and Apple devices. The lost emails were duly recovered but only after having to change my Google password. However one of our Thunderbird Gmail account will not download any new messages coming in. Ultimately we deleted that account from Thunderbird, intending to reinstall it. We deleted the account by pressing the Red button in account settings. We confirmed that messages are received to Gmail's Web page Inbox Now when I attempt to reinstall the account and press Add Account, I get the UNABLE TO LOG IN AT SERVER MESSAGE shown below. The "Your Full Name" I am putting in is the name on the Google account deleted from Thunderbird, and the password I have tried is my new Google password. I have tried the process of not adding in the password until requested to do so but this did not work either. Any suggestions please?

I have been using Easy Screenshot for years. Today I tried taking a screenshot and it opened a huge copy of the rectangular image I wanted to save in a new tab. Then there was no visible way to save the image. I used to get the option to save the image file in the same tab as the image I wanted to save. Took a screenshot and saved in Paint to show the contents of the Firefox window that image is huge and should have been 4 inches wide at most. Also the lack of how to save the image.

I'm wondering if this a because of the latest update. Firefox 147.0.1 X64 desktop WIN10 22h2 with ESU

When I tried reporting the problem on the add-on page the website it tried to connect to was not working so asking here for help.

Thunderbird was working fine on my Laptop until yesterday's update. Now I keep getting the above message. There is plenty of desk space and my write privileges haven't changed, If I delete yesterday's messages and try downloading new ones those messages reload. I think my tablet hasn't yet installed the update and is currently loading emails normally. Any help, much appreciated!

my old email was discontinued kanokla no longer provides the service ,so i got a gmail address and i wish to update my primary but i cant because i need a 6 digit code from my kanokla email which doesnt exist any more.so i cannot update my info because i am working towards installing Linux and i am trying to get everything in order. can you help please my new email is [email removed]@gmail.com

I am not sure what to do first. I already paid for the VPN subscription. I reinstalled Mozzilla VPN but have not yet put the sudo lines in that are listed in the help on Firefox. Can you send me an email with instructions and any special sudo lines I need to intall so I do not get charged a second time. I heve the recovery code. I am new to Mint. Windows 11 started knocking out my hardware with power surges. Had to come from the operating system itself since the machine is hooked to a power backup that smoothes the current out. I searched, and all the internet results I find tell me to look in the settings:applications:mailto ddlb and select Yahoo. The problem is that it's not there.

There is a "use other" but there's no hint on how I'd tell it to open https://mail.yahoo.com.

How do I get it to open Yahoo mail?

A heart has recently been included in the Firefox icon in my taskbar. What's the reason for it and what do I have to do so that the Firefox icon no longer has it? I've run a number of antimalware programs and they came up with nothing.

Hi, I am trying to export a calendar from a Windows 10 PC into a Lubuntu PC. The exported Home.ics file is about 217KB. At stage 4 in the import process (which shows the file name correctly) a message in red says "No importable items found in the file" . In the main area it says "Loading items" but nothing happens. Am I missing something here? Thanks

how to add Yahoo search as default search engine if Yahoo is missing on Firefox Search. on Search setting i can see different engines Google, Bing, Ebay, etc. but there is no Yahoo.

Three days ago this started happening. When I mouse over the Firefox icon on my task bar, I get a long vertical list of open tabs, the majority of which are blank. When you try to click the X (that appears on the right side of the list when you mouse over a blank space) nothing happens. In the past few days it showed a random mix of blank tabs and open tabs. Yesterday it only showed the open tabs at the top with a long list of blanks below. And today it's only showing the one tab I have active (despite having up to five tabs open before I took the picture).

Before this all started happening, it used to show large tab previews (not just text) that run horizontally along the bottom of my screen when I hover my mouse over the Firefox icon on the taskbar. Now it's just a list that goes vertically with all these blank tabs.

How to return things to normal? (tab previews horizontally without blanks)

I'm running Windows 11 Home, Version 25H2, OS build 26200.7623 and Firefox: 147.0.1 (64-bit)
