Can you put the logo in a commonly accessible place, e.g. on Google Drive, Flickr or Dropbox, and then paste the link to the image into your HTML signature? It will then load for people who load remote images.

I followed the directions here under Signatures Stored in Files. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/signatures#w_html-signatures

I created it in Thunderbird, saved it as HTML, then uploaded that file under Options for Signatures. It works for about 3-4 days and then just the logo, which if you click on it brings you to a website, disappears.

I am having difficulty attaching a screenshot to show you. The signature itself includes a logo and text next to the logo

I may have found the issue but don't know how to fix it. I create the signature with the instructions above in Thunderbird and save it as HTML file for Chrome. This actual file though, when I open it up, the logo aspect of the signature has disappeared and it is left with a square outline and a little icon that looks like a piece of paper, upper right corner folder with what looks like a green hill, white cloud, and blue background. But this logo is still clickable to take me to a website

One other idea. I do have the signature saved in a word file that has the logo and stuff. I am not so concerned that the signature is in HTML so it can be clicked on to get to our website. But is there a way to import this signature from Word with it keeping the font colors, text size, and logo?

If your going to have a signature it will be in HTML or nothing. you can attach your word file if you like, but it will be an attachment.

Send me an email to the gmail address in my profile here (click on my ugly mug) and I will tell you what I see wrong with your signature as it will be included.
